"Indeed, history is nothing more than a tableau of crimes and misfortunes." – Voltaire

The Art of War, One more spin of the wheel.
Sun Tzu said it best: drain the energy and morale of the enemy. Right now, that enemy is us—the middle class, working people, anyone without a spaceship ticket.
Aren’t you exhausted? The never-ending fights on social media, the weaponization of victimhood, the performative outrage—both Woke and Anti-Woke?
I am. And while we’re busy fighting over pronouns and beer cans, billionaires are buying planets and Disney drops DEI.
Woke Wasn’t Always a Joke
"The co-optation of 'woke' is part of a powerful and understated weaponization of meaning called semantic pejoration—where a word acquires negative meaning over time."— Brenden Tensley, CNN
Let’s be real—the Woke Movement started with real stakes. Social justice, police brutality, diversity. But then?
Republicans outmaneuvered it. They framed "Woke" as a punchline. And now? The word itself is a lost cause. They own it. The battlefield has moved.
"Me Too" Wasn’t for Hollywood Blondes
Take Me Too. It wasn’t meant to be an actress PR stunt. The phrase was coined by Tarana Burke in 2006 to support sexual assault survivors.
"Me Too is about survivors talking to survivors." — Tarana Burke
But then came the corporate carpetbaggers. Suddenly, it became a brand. A Hollywood red carpet accessory.
Time’s Up? No, It’s Over.

In 2018, Time’s Up raised $21 million in two months to help victims fight back. But when the cameras left, so did the movement.
By 2023, Time’s Up shut down. The last $1.7 million was moved elsewhere.
What happened? It was never about justice. It was about clicks, headlines, and corporate opportunism.
Chicago’s Mayor and the Outrage Click Machine
Remember when Chicago’s mayor refused to interview white reporters? That wasn’t social justice—it was a PR stunt.
In 2021, Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced she would only grant interviews to journalists of color, intending to highlight media bias.
But instead of sparking a conversation? She handed right-wing media an easy win. And suddenly, diversity in journalism wasn’t the conversation anymore—her outrage-bait was.
Distraction complete.
The Anti-Woke Grift is No Better

Then there’s the Anti-Woke brigade—an industry built on selling reactionary rage.
🔥 Joe Rogan freaking out over Disney movies and trans people on beer cans.🔥 The new Snow White movie? Someone called it “Snow White and the Dirty Hippies.”🔥 "Bud Light is dead to me!" (Meanwhile, billionaires are stacking more wealth.)
Sure, some Woke policies deserved debate. But the Anti-Woke movement? It’s not about fixing problems. It's outrage for profit.
No one is forcing you onto a Pride float—though, honestly, that would be fabulous. It's super fun.
Why This Fight is a Con Job
"Flood the Zone"—Steve Bannon’s entire strategy. Drown your enemies in so much noise, they collapse from exhaustion.

While we’re debating Bud Light, Disney, and Barbie—real power moves happen quietly.
🔥 Amazon workers in NC just voted against a union.🔥 Disney reversed its DEI initiatives the moment profits fell.🔥 Walmart laid off thousands—but you didn’t notice, because a trans person was on a beer can. Billionaires aren’t "Woke" or "Anti-Woke." They don’t care.
They just want you too tired to fight for things that matter.
What Can We Do?
1️⃣ Act Without Prejudice.
2️⃣ Follow the Law—even when your enemies don’t.
3️⃣ Stop being self-righteous.
4️⃣ Vote Local.
5️⃣ Be a good winner, not a sore one.
6️⃣ Get off the soapbox before we all drown.
Example: The movie Kneecap used rap to preserve the Irish language. Music genre, rap, created by African-Americans now used by Irish musicians to shine a light on the importance of Language.
That’s strategy. Not whining on Twitter.
Final Thought: Who Benefits?
The next time you feel like going to war over Barbie, Bud Light, or Snow White, ask yourself:
Are you thinking for yourself?
Or are you just another pawn in the con job?
